Our August 2025 Guest Speaker will be David Rees,
one of our very own Probus Warrawee members.
David is an Economist, Author, and Academic and has a PhD in
Economics and a Master of Arts in Statistics.
He has spent much of his working life in:
Research: banking, stockbroking, real estate
Investment banking: equity, credit, commodity and forex markets
Finance, investment strategy, economics and law
Media: financial and economic commentator, television, academic
and business conferences
Academic appointments in Australia, US, Canada and South Africa,
retiring in 2020.
David’s talk is entitled:
“President Trump: Trust, Tariffs and Trade”

The Old Fish Market
On 15 May a group of nine happy snappers met at Alan's home to evaluate each others’ Fish Market photos taken the previous month. We all agreed that some truly excellent photos had been taken.
